Sycamore Spring Farm is located in the heart of Marylands's proposed Civil War Heritage Area. The farm's 260 year log cabin and summer kitchen were no doubt witness to much as the invasion of Robert E. Lee into the North-to Antietam (the single bloodiest day) and the events at Gettysburg unfolded. The Civil War Heritage Area with Frederick at the center, encompasses events, landscapes, sites, and structures of immense national significance and emotional power.
